THATCHER - Ioana

During my final two semesters at NAD UQAC, I had the opportunity to direct my graduation short film project, Thatcher. I was mainly responsible for character modeling, and this is one of the characters I worked on — Ioana, the protagonist of the film. She's a strong and courageous young woman on a quest to find her lost brother. This project was an incredible learning experience. I learned a lot about the ZBrush workflow and explored new ways to work more quickly and efficiently.

The original concept for Ioana was created by our amazing concept artist, Éloïse St-Georges, and brought to life with textures by the incredibly talented Maïka Yelle.
